Looking Back on a Brilliant 2023
What a year it’s been at Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet! As we reflect on everything that’s happened over the past 12 months, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers, regular visitors, and local community. Your continued support has made 2023 one of our most exciting years yet—and we’re only just getting started!
From major refurbishments to new brand launches, unforgettable in-store events, and the return of some much-loved favourites, this past year has been packed with positive changes. So, here’s a look back at the highlights from 2023 at Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet and a sneak peek at what’s coming in 2024.
A Fresh New Look – Our Rebrand
One of the biggest milestones of 2023 was our full store rebrand. After years of trading with the same look and feel, we knew it was time to modernise our branding while keeping the personality and charm that make Broadstone Mill unique.
Our new logo and store signage bring a modern yet timeless aesthetic to our outlet, and it’s been fantastic to see how much our customers have embraced the change. The rebrand didn’t stop at signage, we also launched a brand new website, making it easier than ever to keep up with our latest offers, events, blog updates, competitions, and in-store exclusives.
This major transformation has allowed us to showcase everything we have to offer in a fresh, engaging, and more accessible way, ready to take us into an exciting new era.
A Taste of Something New – Café and Tea Room Makeovers
2023 also saw a huge improvement to our café spaces. First came the launch of Angelica’s Tea Room, a beautiful, light-filled space on our first floor overlooking the front of the building. With bespoke furniture, elegant décor, and a fresh new menu, including our popular afternoon teas, Angelica’s has fast become a favourite spot for shoppers to unwind.
Not to be left out, our ground floor café also underwent a transformation and is now proudly known as Caffe Massarella. A stylish Italian-inspired café perfect for coffee, lunch, or cake. And let’s not forget the newly upgraded customer toilets on both floors, making the store even more comfortable and accessible for everyone.

Exclusive Events and Late-Night Shopping
We love an excuse to throw a party, and this year, we hosted two unforgettable in-store events. The first was our official Rebrand Launch Party, where customers were invited to enjoy exclusive discounts, a glass of fizz, and a relaxed evening of shopping, mingling and celebration.
This was followed by our festive Late-Night Christmas Shopping Party, complete with live music, mince pies, and magical Christmas vibes. Singer Karen’s live performance was a highlight of the season, creating a wonderful atmosphere as customers browsed our Christmas range, gifts, and winter fashion collections.
Events like these remind us just how special our Broadstone Mill community is and we’re planning even more for 2024.
Breakfast with Santa – A Magical Experience
We ended the year on a high with the return of Breakfast with Santa at Angelica’s Tea Room. Santa joined us for three magical mornings of storytelling, festive treats, and gift-giving. The event was a sell-out success and brought big smiles to lots of little faces. We hope to welcome Santa back again this year, if he can squeeze us into his busy schedule!
New Concessions and More Choice Than Ever
2023 also brought a wave of exciting new brands and concessions to our store, adding even more variety and value for our customers. Our already extensive selection of designer fashion, homeware, footwear, outdoor clothing, beauty products, and gifts got even better and there’s still more to come.

Monthly Artisan Markets – Local Talent on Show
Throughout the year, we also hosted our popular Artisan Markets in the car park on the last Saturday of every month. These family-friendly events bring together a fantastic selection of local makers, bakers, artists, and crafters, perfect for finding a one-of-a-kind gift or treat. The markets will return again in March 2024, so mark your calendars!
A Year of Growth and Community
Perhaps most importantly, 2023 was a year of growth. We welcomed more customers through our doors than ever before, saw new friendships form over cake and coffee, and built an even stronger bond with the local community.
